To create this elegant look, the team started with her color, which was taken to a dark cool brown with a slight violet cast. A demi-permanent haircolor was used to create extreme shine and rich tones, all while allowing the hair to remain damage free.

A perfect solution for longer hair, Kari Hoyt of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa in Anaheim Hills, California created a disconnected layered cut for Yesenia. For her color she applied a neutral champagne base with subtle warmth in the highlights.

To style, Alterna Straightening Balm and Texturizing Glaze were layered into the hair while damp. After blow-drying with a round brush, Kari smoothed back over the surface with Caviar Rapid Repair then used Shine and Define to piece out and add definition,

To control the naturally curly hair, Tracy started the style off with a polished blow-dry to give a good foundation. Redken Satin Wear ultimate blow dry lotion was applied through the towel-dried hair and Guts was worked in at the root before blow-drying with a round brush for polish and shine. Once completely dry, small sections of hair are braided tight to the head up and around the ear, following the hairline all the way up to the parietal ridge.

To create these soft sexy waves, Nicole Eggert (of Salon Boucle in Anaheim Hills, California) started with long layers on shoulder length hair. The ends were point cut for movement and a heavy side-swept bang was added to accent the face.

For the color, a soft copper brown is broken up with highlights around the face, through the temple and in back. To produce a softer transition of color, highlighted sections were backcombed before applying the color.

For an evening look, a ponytail is created in back and sections are sprayed and looped over one another, pinning sections into place. A medium hold spray over the surface seals the deal.

Studio C stylist Jeff Stump started with a stunning platinum hue for Suzanne then created lots of texture and short croppy layers. For the heavy fringe, a defined edge is broken up with highly shattered ends thus combining texture and strong lines.

Studio C stylist Stephen Mendelson applied a very modern set of layers to her lengthy hair. He created lots of soft volume with most of the movement around the perimeter and full, yet soft fringe to outline her face. For her color he took advantage of her natural shade, then applied a gloss over the top to add shine and depth.

Hair extension specialist, Jaime Queenin of Pon International wanted to create a fun and versatile look for Traci that was not as permanent or time consuming as regular hair extensions. Using glue-in rows of extensions, she applied a mix of color starting with Traci's natural warm dark brown to add some length and volume, then added a copper red and a pale blonde for dimension. Once they were all applied, the extensions were blended in with her natural hair using a razor.

Jamie's very fine hair was overgrown and unmanageable. Wanting to keep as much length as possible, Steven Villa of Pon International razor cut long graduated layers, then sliced back through for a shattered finish.

When she came into the salon, Jamie's color was blonde with some previous grown out color. To add some depth, Steven applied a warm medium golden brown base with a single panel golden blonde highlight.
