A perfect solution for longer hair, Kari Hoyt of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa in Anaheim Hills, California created a disconnected layered cut for Yesenia. For her color she applied a neutral champagne base with subtle warmth in the highlights.

To style, Alterna Straightening Balm and Texturizing Glaze were layered into the hair while damp. After blow-drying with a round brush, Kari smoothed back over the surface with Caviar Rapid Repair then used Shine and Define to piece out and add definition,

For a fun upstyle, Kari took larger random sections and pulled them back, looping, twisting and pinning them into place. Some of the ends were left to sprig out while sporadic sections in front were left out allowing them to dangle and delicately frame the face.
