To create these soft sexy waves, stylist Nicole Eggert started with long layers on shoulder length hair. The ends were point cut for movement and a heavy side-swept bang was added to accent the face.
For the color, a soft copper brown is broken up with highlights around the face, through the temple and in back. To produce a softer transition of color, highlighted sections were backcombed before applying the color.
To style her naturally curly hair, a straightening balm and a shine serum were cocktailed together and worked into the damp hair all over. After blow-drying with a round brush, large sections are placed into pin curls and pinned up to cool. Each pin curl is undone and worked back through with a small amount of molding paste, then the entire head is dusted with shine spray and a medium hold spray. The end result is soft, very pretty, very “In” wave.
