Optics
Hair artist Danny Pato tapped some of the movements and obsessions of the '60s, from pop art and fashion to architecture, and mixed it with space travel, new wave, and rebellion—but he reimagined it all for today. The hair in his collection is high-contrast black and white set against a monochromatic palette. He took a long bob (lob) and gave it shattered layers of black and white and created finger-waves with a finger-like illusion. For a shorter haircut, he made disconnected layers that integrate and provide a choppy effect.
Poly-Pop Culture
Poly-Pop is about our plastic lives in our pop culture society...

Girl Is A Rocker
Exploring the ‘70s and ‘80s with a cool, grungy finish, Bill Tsiknaris’ Girl is a Rocker collection offers a contemporary rawness. It’s not about perfection in the typical sense, instead, it’s about hair that was perfect at one time but after a few days, it’s now much looser and lived-in. In this series, each girl exudes a subtle rocker silhouette, while maintaining her timeless feminine presence. Tightly cropped sides contrast with length kept through the back, activated cuts stimulate texture and slightly raised fringes give a nod to a ‘70s hair staple.
