This magical collection is a tale of the nymphs, specifically one illusive type: the sylphs. Winged guardians of the air, sylphs retain a human appearance, are extremely beautiful and flaunt incredibly soft, delicate features. According to hairstylist Bernat Sayol at Salón Carlos Valiente, the objective with this series was to highlight the metamorphosis of the sylphs‘ lifespan. From pearly egg to hatchling and into childhood where this nymph starts to show her wings and budding beauty. At the end of the evolution she arrives to the adult phase, where she can be observed in all of her glory with a full wingspan. This is the presence that will last for the rest of her life, as nymphs are known to keep themselves young and beautiful until the end of their days.
