Studio C stylist Jeff Stump wanted to create a very unique rocker inspired edge to fit her highly individualized style. He started by adding a splash of red to liven up her black strands. Next he cut short choppy layers and applied highly overstated disconnection all over with extreme exaggeration in the back for an almost tail-like effect.

Her new A-line shape has rounded fringe and highly shattered layers through the top with chiseled layers at the bottom. A deep mahogany red base is broken up with flaming cherry panels. These sheets of peek-a-boo color are placed in the bangs and on the sides for a robust color accent. Diagonal sections in the back instill a hint of color underneath at the neck.

This cut is short and geometric with disconnection and shattered edges. The back is stacked, the front is undercut and the bang is asymmetrical and side swept.

A chocolate brown base is broken up with blocks on either side in scattered flames with orange red and warm yellow. This very warm all over block coloring gives a fun peek-a-boo effect.

Cosmos stylists and co-owner Sandra Lee Barbetta created a rich cool brown with slashes of cool blonde to break everything up. The shattered shag is disconnected through the crown with highly texturzed ends.

Kendra wanted some spark added to her look. Something young, hip and definitely fun. Celeste kept most of the length but applied a slightly shorter layered bob with top layers cut with a razor for a disconnected flair.

The color involves a beautiful onyx glaze, which was used as a base and then tangerine bursts of color were placed sporadically throughout the entire head.

Jessica’s hair was slightly overgrown with color that had faded and became brassy. To clean up her look and sharpen the style, Celeste cut the hair to one length then added shattered layers throughout the entire head to give more movement.

For the color, Celeste first decolorized to remove the old color then a base tone was glazed to create an even shade of blonde. Next she added panels of a lighter blonde and a light neutral brown to give a much softer look to the color overall.

Jasmine was ready for a drastic change. Her frizzy shoulder length hair had grown out layering and tons of old, brassy color. She wanted a hip look that was better with her face shape with color that didn’t wash her or her personality out.

To produce a new look for Jasmine, Celeste started by creating a defined elevation on one side then cut short graduated layers throughout the hair. A disconnected crop layer was placed on top for a little kick to the hairstyle.

A slight A-line, this shaggy mid-length cut by Michelle Alexander of Alexander’s Grand Salon & Spa has heavy fringe and layers all over for volume and movement. Her rich color is a copper in the front and through the hairline and a deep merlot all over. For a wispy style, volumizing mousse is worked in all over then a smoothing cream is added to tame her natural texture. After blow-drying with a round brush for volume, the hair is flat ironed for control. Gloss is used first to add shine then pomade is added to piece out the texture on medium sized sections.

To make a bold statement, sometimes a softer touch is simply better. This look started out with a natural dark blonde tone with previous highlights and a couple of inches of new growth.  Wanting to keep to her natural blonde realm, Tracy opted to give her a much stronger result with a more pastel tonal range. Color that was not too ash or too warm. A delicate hue more like the natural state of a child’s hair. Soft, almost sun kissed color that would set well against her pale, yet slightly ruddy complexion.
