A slight A-line, this shaggy mid-length cut by Michelle Alexander of Alexander’s Grand Salon & Spa has heavy fringe and layers all over for volume and movement. Her rich color is a copper in the front and through the hairline and a deep merlot all over.For a wispy style, volumizing mousse is worked in all over then a smoothing cream is added to tame her natural texture. After blow-drying with a round brush for volume, the hair is flat ironed for control. Gloss is used first to add shine then pomade is added to piece out the texture on medium sized sections. The ends are bumped out slightly, then a medium hold spray is applied over the surface to hold.
For a fuller look, the base is backcombed to create more volume, then a medium curling iron is used on random sections, alternating directions back and forth all across the surface of the hair.
