Bedhead / undone / messy

This classic bob has very bold and modern Cleopatra bangs. Channel cutting was done for an inside-out form of layering, which creates movement and fluidity to the overall style. To style this fringy feel, stylist Sergio Andrioli blow-dried the hair with a paddle brush after adding an aggressive root lift. Next he flat ironed for control, then applied a medium hold spray for a clean and fresh textured finish.

This stunning style has a slight A line to the perimeter and is layered as well as texturized for a highly dynamic appeal. The ends are delicately shattered while long fringy bangs neatly blend into the sides. Her natural medium blonde color is bumped up a notch to a dazzling golden blonde hue with very thin freehand slices of subtle golden tones, as well as a few rich low lights for depth.

This short Sassoon-inspired cut is a 1920’s bob revisited with contemporary flair. The lines are sleeker and more angular with internal texturing for movement.

The color involves a layering of warmth and richness that follow the rounds of the head and support the geometric quality of the cut. This highly dimensional color was achieved by placing a warm red on top of a cool red, instilling the ultimate in depth.

Choppy layers and disconnected pieces in front end with shorter layers in back.

Get The Look: Start with a lightweight styling lotion all over and mousse at the root for lift and then blow-dry with a round brush. Lift sections up on top to add body starting at the root and then turn the brush several times to create a bend through the length. Use a dab of styling paste to your hands and work through hair while finger-styling. Add finishing spray to hold.
