Psyche Collection
A collection by Tony & Guy’s Richi Grisillo, Psyche explores the perception of light and shade through the mind’s eye. Drawing a conceptual reference from the Rorschach Ink Blot Test, the story presents six very organic structures that play with texture, shape formation, and a striking palette that alternates from monochromatic to muted color tones.
Blueshift
Karine Jackson of Karine Jackson Hair & Beauty artfully crafted Blueshift - A collection of coifs designed to reshape your perception of space and time. Each hairstyle is a statement in movement with a range of flow from smooth and head-hugging to boldly blown away. Color spans the spectrum from white hot blonde through powdery pink to intense, on-fire red, all with fabulous shapeshifting placement.
Prowess
"I’m a true cat lover – some say a crazy cat lady, as I have six different breeds at home. I love them for lots of different reasons. Not just because they are cute and cuddly but they have a mysterious and psychic nature. They are so intuitive and for me each has their own individual and unique personality. I have often looked at and studied their hair so it made sense to do a collection based around the animal I love the most. For the WeLove brand, this is what my work is – gorgeous and healthy-looking hair.
Hive
Inspired by the world of insects, with their earthly colors, and unique shapes and textures, hair artist Ziortza Zarauza of Spain used nature as a source of inspiration for this brilliantly buzzing collection dubbed Hive.
Reining Queen
Meet the Queen: A royal three-in-one collection creating multiple looks on the same woman but showcasing very different results. Hair artist Carlos Valiente wanted to show the more tender, commercial and feminine side of a woman while keeping with his signature editorial-ness.
Technik Collection
This very diverse hair collection by the Ken Picton Art Team explores shape, texture and color while discovering how light and shadow changes the fabric of hair, creating new overall effects.
Nymph Allure
This magical collection is a tale of the nymphs, specifically one illusive type: the sylphs. Winged guardians of the air, sylphs retain a human appearance, are extremely beautiful and flaunt incredibly soft, delicate features. According to hairstylist Bernat Sayol at Salón Carlos Valiente, the objective with this series was to highlight the metamorphosis of the sylphs‘ lifespan. From pearly egg to hatchling and into childhood where this nymph starts to show her wings and budding beauty.
Award Winning Gold
Introducing Gold – A collection of pure and indulgently glamorous hair full of spirit and style. Frank Apostolopoulos, BIBA Australia Creative Director and Australian Hairdresser of the Year, created this series crafting very “supermodel” hair that is luscious, sexy, and bold.
Epoch Style
A collection that star gazes into the future, Epoch is about a time where beauty is brave and unbridled. While referencing classic foundations and timeless techniques, this collection looks to an epoch not yet lived - a panorama of re-invention and re-emergence.
Monarchs
Manuel Mon created this standout collection displaying an elegant and sophisticated avant-garde side but also reflected his meticulous and highly crafted work. He went for the magnificence of monarchs, namely the queens of our time past and our imaginations of today. Much like paintings hanging in a museum, with great poses and giving in whole an appearance of luxury and royalty. The styling in this collection is fundamental, as it maximizes and enhances the hair creations, using exclusively jewelry and leather to create an appearance of power and greatness.
