Felicia was feeling a little washed out, so stylist Michelle Neto of Fantastic Sams in Corona, California added a richer brown base color and then highlighted over the top with a golden hue. Next Michelle cut soft, face-framing layers with side-bangs. To help add volume to her fine hair, a volumizing spray was worked through damp strands and then a root lift was applied just at the scalp. Her hair was blow-dried using a large round brush to pull up on top and the ends were delicately rolled under. A flat iron was smoothed through just the ends and height was created with a little backcombing at the crown.
