Melissa had a mid length style with an overgrown light brown and blonde mix from her previous hair color. She wanted a look that was a little more daring with lots of texture and versatility.
Celeste started with a short elevated bob with shattered layers then added disconnected bangs and sides. For the color, an intense ruby red was used as the base then rich black panels were placed throughout for added dimension.
To style, equal parts of a light hold styling gel and a smoothing serum was applied all over on damp hair before blow-drying completely. A flat iron is used in a downward motion before kicking up the ends of the layers. A gloss spray shine over the surface of the finished style gives a bit of added luster.
