Jessica’s hair was slightly overgrown with color that had faded and became brassy. To clean up her look and sharpen the style, Celeste cut the hair to one length then added shattered layers throughout the entire head to give more movement.

For the color, Celeste first decolorized to remove the old color then a base tone was glazed to create an even shade of blonde. Next she added panels of a lighter blonde and a light neutral brown to give a much softer look to the color overall.

To style, a quarter size amount of gel lotion is applied to the damp hair before blow-drying completely. Using a flat iron for added smoothness, the hair was straightened in 3” sections then was finished with a texture spray for definition of the layers.
