Leave-In Recovery Lotion
Ideal for dry and damaged hair, Kavella Leave-In Recovery Lotion contains organic vegetable glycerin. This nontoxic, water-soluble humectant draws in water from its surroundings and holds it, keeping hair soft and hydrated longer.
A key ingredient, aloe vera extract contains enzymes that repair dead skin cells on the scalp. It acts as a conditioner, promotes hair growth and soothes the scalp. Aloe also reinforces strands with powerful nutrients that result in more elasticity and less breakage.
Hydrolyzed baobab protein is one of the most powerful repairing hair proteins derived from plants. It contains amino acids Cysteine, Methionine, and Phenylalanine. Combined, these amino acids provide damage recovery, nourishment, and conditioning.
Organic sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, and grape seed oil have high linoleic acid, which is indicative of ceramides that glue down the hair cuticle to the hair shaft. When the hair cuticle lays flat, hair is shinier and more manageable, porosity and elasticity are improved, and the hair is more damage resistant.
Recovery Oil Treatment
Best for damaged hair and split end recovery, this treatment oil contains a trio of organic sunflower seed oil, safflower oil, and grape seed oil. All have high linoleic acid, which, like ceramides, glue down the hair cuticle to the hair shaft. When the hair cuticle lays flat, strands are shinier and more manageable, porosity and elasticity are improved, and the hair is more damage resistant.
Recovery Oil Treatment also contains olive squalene, Tonka bean butter, grapefruit essential oil. Derived from olives, squalane is a naturally occurring component of human sebum and is a highly effective emollient and moisturizer.
Tonka bean butter has a beautiful almondy, powdery trace, and when combined with grapefruit essential oil, produces a refreshing scent.
