Get The Look: Starting on dry hair, mist sections with working spray. Wrap the section tightly around a smaller curling iron. Hold a few seconds to seal in the curl and release, leaving the curl intact. Continue until all sections are curled. Add pomade on your hands and piece through while finger-styling hair into place. Mist with shine spray to add luster and hair spray to hold.

This very fun short length in a rich ebony hue features diagonal layers with a very ripped and shattered feel. Heavy side bangs have a torn feel while ultra short and disconnected baby bangs peek out from underneath.
Root boost is applied at the base on damp hair while a straightening balm helps tame her natural wave. After blow-drying with a round brush for volume, the hair is flat ironed. A rounded bend is applied in the crown with a large curling iron then spray wax is used for a pliable finish.

If graced with curly hair like Iggy Azalea, start off this hairstyle with a curl-enhancing product and let hair airdry. Otherwise mist texture spray all over and power dry by moving hair around with your fingers and you blow dry on high.
Mist small sections of dry hair with a thermal working spray, twist each section several times and then wrap tightly around a ¾-inch curling iron. Hold the iron in place for a few seconds to set the curl and then release carefully keeping the coil intact. Continue with all sections until all hair is curled.

Sections of dry hair aremisted with working spray and rolled onto hot rollers, alternating between the medium and large sizes. Once cooled, the rollers are undone and the hair is worked back through by hand.
The heavy bang is left out while the rest of the hair is backcombed at the base for lift. Dana took a swoop from either side in the front to the nape in back and pinned it into place. Next she fanned out curls then finished with a medium hold spray.

Fringed Shag -TT-09-01045
Amy’s hair was a natural dark blond shade with long, over grown layers. For her new color, DeAnnalyn Teal created a dimensional series of blonds and reds. Ryan Teal took over and started the cut with the fringe in mind. After prepping the hair with a straightening balm, he blow-dried and flat ironed but leaving a slight bit of body. He took a deep triangular section in front and cut a 60’s inspired, ultra-bold fringe. Next he added shaggy layers. A fine mist of hair spray was used for soft hold while a shiny but light pomade was used over the surface to remove flyaways.

Lauren had long hair with previous extensions and a strawberry blonde color with some blonde that was added in at home. To begin, Pon removed the old extensions and created a rich copper base with golden highlights all over with an increased concentration around her face.

Nicole took larger sections, misted the hair with Heated Defense to protect hair from the heat as well as giving a medium hold, wrapped each briefly around a small curling iron to warm up the hair and then threaded sections through a wave clip. Lower sections of hair from underneath were wrapped around a medium roller.

Emily has a mid length layered cut that is shattered internally but is blunt on the bottom. Disconnected bangs are cut diagonally to sit heavy to one side.
Her color is a level 7 blonde with level 8 gold and lighter blonde highlights sliced throughout the head. Diagonal sections are also placed in the sides and in the fringe for even more dimension.
To style, a cocktail of Polishing Cream and Spray Shine is worked into the damp hair before blow-drying with a round brush. A light mist hair spray and polish spray on the ends creates just the right finish.

Get The Look: Depending on your hair type, prep with smoothing serum if you have natural curl or frizz, or your hair has a coarse texture. For fine or limp hair, add styling spray at the root but for normal, medium density hair add a lightweight styling or blow-dry lotion all over.
