Nuances of Blond
Using subtly nuanced shades of blond, José García Peluqueros crafted a series of flaxen statements taking inspiration from Scandinavia where color comes to life as the sun’s rays influence the hair. The platinum, gold and copper blend much like an aurora borealis, highlighting the purity of yellow, pink, blue or purple. Thick layers and blunt ends allow movement through the hairstyles, revealing the color at the root: the boreal treasure for the ultimate Finnish beauty.
When Color Whispers
To make a powerful statement, sometimes it's best to whisper, versus shout. The same can be true for hair color - the subtlest nuance or delicate shift of color can make all of the difference in the world to one's personal style. This is especially true for blondes, whether natural or created, as the lighter strands become the perfect canvas for which to paint. Think subtle pastel shades of pink, rose, lilac or mauve, or today's trending teal, blue, seafoam or outright green.
Hue-Beautiful
The richly infused color collection from hair artist Sean Godard offers beautifully melted jewel-inspired tones with deep bases. Lush fullness and large rolls and waves make the perfect canvas for this hue-beautiful collection.
White Blondes
Everyone loves seeing or better yet being a white-hot blonde; that flaxen flow of almost silvery lightness that seems to turn heads on a dime. The most enviable hue and highly searched shade of hair color, platinum and white blondes are as popular in person as they are in the digital realm. Today, white blondes are evolving from just a one-tone starkness to platinum as a foundation. Look for powdery light blondes, some rooty and some not - also witness cooler whites that delve into the silver side or introduce shades of gray for added depth.
Best Blondes
Boldly Delicate
Inspired by the palette of raw Scandinavian nature, the contrast between dull daylight and colorful feathers created an interesting encounter of melancholy and hope. For this series, Mirjam Eliasson and Sessili Jering of Salon Guld of Gothenburg, Sweden used a variety of techniques to create these delicately unique looks. In some cases, freehand application was used and in others, stencils provided the right tools for the distinctive color placement. The duo also used flamboyage, plastic papers instead of foils to be able to see-through to the hair beneath when applying the color.
Metropolitan Style
Based on individualism, the Metropolitan collection by the Farouk Systems team is a comprehensive approach to fashion and styles that are thoroughly unique. Each model demonstrates the multiple personalities and trends found on the street, making for a contemporary urban environment, influenced by different personalities and styles. Which woman are you?
Opalescence
At that exact spot, pure beauty arises, fresh and colorful shades balance perfectly with texture and shape. An ode to daring femininity, these looks offer a classy, polished touch with seamless transitions of opal-inspired fashion color.
Prism Effect
For this collection of reflective shades, Nikita Fisher of Jamie Stevens focused her energy on light, transparency, and paranormal movement. Incorporating a spectrum of colors, she created looks similar to elements from mother nature and the physical world - capturing those magical, very rarely seen moments that happen at sunrise, sunset, after the rain has fallen, in the depths of space, and only during certain time lapses.
