Desert Rose
This textural body of work by Jasmine Heckenberg of Sfumato Hair is a reference to the singular rose: a flower out of reach, always striving for that thing we can never obtain, like a mirage in the desert. The braiding techniques that she utilized reflects the powerful female imagery of a warrior priestess, adorned with a crown of thorns. Battle ready and independent, in a world dominated by male leadership.
Haircolor Whimsy
Robert Masciave of Metropolis Hairdressing, one of hairdressing’s most creative and innovative voices, showcases a whimsical collection of quirky hairstyles. According to this accomplished hair artist, the look and feel of this series is inspired by the video Life on Mars by David Bowie and the late 80s punk hair color. This series won Masciave the title of Southerm Hairdresser of the Year in last year's British Hairdressing Awards.
The 8th Collection
Drawing inspiration from the latest trends, the most intense tones have been used at the roots to create depth. Working downwards we find pastel tones, which meet the tips of the hair, playful in its contrast of grays.

Why Label It
"I’ve taken inspiration for my Why Label It collection from the variety of areas I wanted to focus on. Cuts and bold color alongside creative pony tails and beautiful hair. I’m known for my curls and softness within my looks and I wanted to contrast this with some strong structures. Organic color is always at the forefront of any of my collections and I’m hell bent on showing that you can still achieve vibrant and on trend looks. I wanted to work with key trends for 2017, the bright yellows and greens and rose golds.
