Kristine Agrusa of The David Salon created long layers for Monica then applied a series of lighter blonde highlights and medium blonde low lights for a softly dimensional feel.
To style, volumizing mousse was worked in all over before blow-drying with Monica's head upside down for added lift. Once dry, Kristine took large sections of hair, applied a pump hairspray and set her with a one-inch curling iron. Each section was pinned up to cool. Once set, the sections were undone and brushed out for a soft wave. She lightly backcombed at the base for volume, then smoothed over the surface staring on the part. All of the hair was directed to one side and pinned in at the back rolling forward on the other side. Gel wax was used to piece and smooth and then more hairspray was dusted over the surface to hold.
