Amanda was tired of waiting for her hair to grow out. She had breakage from extreme chemical damage and had applied black dye over the top to try to cover everything.

Nicole Martin of Nicole Martin Hair in Aliso Viejo, California started the new look by removing the black color then applied a deep red for the base. Through that she weaved in red and brown all over the top then added a clear gloss to seal everything in and add shine.

Knowing that she was going to create an A-line style with length in front, Nicole shaped the back of Amanda’s hair to stack up the back. She blew the hair dry and flat ironed so she could see where to add the extensions. Individual strands of human hair extensions were then applied throughout the sides, which were also flat ironed before cutting into the A-line shape and blending into her natural hair.

To style, Nicole applied a few drops of silicone-based gloss before blow-drying with a large round brush. Once completely dry, she ran a flat iron through to smooth the hair and used a small amount of pomade to control flyaways.
