Stylist Monica Flatequal of ColorWorks in Arlington, Virginia initiates the collection with an edgy look. It starts with an asymmetrical bob in a deep chocolate brown hue. To style, Redken Touch Control 5 volumizing texture whip was applied all over on damp hair before blow-drying with a paddle brush. Next Monica took ½-inch sections and dusted with Redken Quick Dry 18 instant finishing spray and created texture using a crimping iron. She applied a tighter crimp at the root and a looser texture at the ends. Once all of the hair was crimped, she worked the hair into place and pinned into the back finishing with more Redken Quick Dry18.
