Martha, Carter’s first model, sports a fun ultra short crop shape infused with a unique and updated short faux hawk. Her darker brown (level 4) perimeter is accented with Tietian red (level 5) in the Mohawk section while a few pieces of blonde are drizzled over the top to break things up.

To style, Carter cocktailed Framesi Soothe leave in conditioner, Glaze styling gel, and WIO straightening balm, and worked it through the hair with his hands. After blow-drying with a vent brush, he pieced here and there with Polishing Cream and Chill Paste to finish the style.

For a more tamed look, Glaze was worked in all over, then Carter allowed the hair to set under a hood dryer. Next he picked back through the hair by hand to break up the shape, then applied a small amount of Chill Paste to create dimension.
