Starting off the collection, this ultra short retro inspired cut by Mehran, owner of Salon Boucle (in Anaheim Hills, California), is highly geometric in nature. It features a very short back with length on top that creates a V in back, which blends into a C shape on the side. It’s a very fun cut with fans of color that nicely complement each other. A rich chocolate brown was applied in back and underneath to give depth while blonde and caramel is worked through the “Mohawk-like” section on top for contrast and texture.

Depending on mood, this cut can be worn any number of ways. It’s sassy and fun when worn slicked down or bumped up a notch for a wilder side at night.

For an edgy style a texture spray was used for volume before picking up pieces and creating direction with the blow dryer. Once completely dry, just finish up with pomade to piece lightly.
