Whitney wanted to take her look a little lighter and brighter. Stylist Michelle Alexander of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa created a highly dimensional look by highlighting her light brown hair to blonde then added copper lowlights for even more depth.

This “in demand” mid length cut features bold choppy layers with soft and blended fringe or bangs. After layering, the cut is highly texturized all over for maximum movement.

To create a soft and flirty style, a mix of straightening balm and shine serum are slathered all over on towel-dried hair, then the bottom half is applied with mousse for fullness. After blow-drying for volume with a round vent ceramic brush, the bottom of the hair is flipped upward and out for a fun kick. Once completely dry a flat iron is run through the strands as needed then pomade is used to define the texture. A medium hold spray allows a workable finish.
