With two stylist parents, Matt Swinney was well immersed into the industry starting from a young age. He honed his skills at the Aveda institute in 1997 and eventually opened a salon called Evolution with Mike Dahl in 2002. Dubbed a "Beauty Genius" by several leading lifestyle and trade publications, Matt’s career was catapulted to a whole new level. When Matt is not behind the chair at Evolution, he is traveling throughout the United States, Europe, and South America styling for large symposiums, photo shoots, and runway shows.
