For men, undercuts and fades still prevail with a range of length up top and an option for blended facial hair. Still a favorite for women, longer layers are worn wavy with smoother roots and face-framing color. Formal styles are inching towards edginess where polish and texture coexist with a modern flair. Pomped up front, tightly braided on the sides and a mix twists, plaits and pinned up pieces give a dignified finish.
Curl is making a comeback offering soft, touchable coils of all types. Look for frizz-free natural curls broken up with pinned-back sections and fun sparks of color to make things new again.
