Shoulder Length

PON12-1443-Shoulder-Grazing

A warm but matte brown at the nape of the neck was added for depth and then a delicate weave was applied over the top to enhance the blonde quality.

Rita wanted to cut the hair dry for a fringy effect, so she applied Bumble and Bumble Prep and Surf Spray and dried vertical sections working from the bottom to the top. Once dry, she cut off about 7-8 inches, taking the length bluntly to the shoulders and then she cut extremely swooped bangs. A detailing cream was used to piece the ends and provide a perfect piece-y finish.

Long A-Line SK-10-1161

This dramatically long A-line bob with a solid black color, flaunts fun sparks of peacock-inspired color through to liven things up.

Apply a quarter-size amount of leave-in conditioner to damp hair before blow-drying straight with a paddle brush. Once dry, run a flat iron through from the roots to the ends. Neatly pin back pieces to show off the panels of color underneath. Mist finishing spray for just the right amount of hold.

Cherry Cola Curls TDS-10-1145

Stylist Tiffany Hernandez applied a high intensity red through her long layers with slices of warmth running through. This left a “cherry cola” flavor to her strands with a rich “root beer” section underneath for depth.

Dramatic Fringe TDS-10-1142

A solid shape for long hair with bold bangs for added drama.

A nickel-size amount of smoothing serum is worked through damp strands to help control any natural wave and then thermal spray is layered on for thermal protection.  Blow-dry hair with paddle brush to produce a smooth edge and then mist one-inch sections with shine spray and flat iron. A dab of super-lightweight pomade is used to smooth the surface.

Choppy Layers TDS-10-1138

James Dinkel of The David Salon gave Ashley a long version of a shag with face framing layers and a shattered exterior. For her color he applied a vertical weave leaving a light blonde highlight through a caramel blonde base. Next a hint of strawberry blonde was added underneath for low lighting.

Sandy Blonde Layers PON-10-1121

Longer face-framing layers wander through this smooth at-shoulder hairstyle.

Apply leave-in conditioner and blow-dry with a large round brush for smoothness and volume. Once dry, flat iron as needed then piece through the ends with styling paste.

Scooped Out Layers PON-10-1118

Before Katie had natural blonde (level 7) hair with slightly outgrown length. For her color, Todd Snow (of PON International in Anaheim Hills, California) created a very fine series of highlights and lowlights resulting in a natural, dimensional honey blonde.

Flirty Curls PON-10-1114

Carolina’s hair was long with grown out layers with a faded brown color. Her natural (level 6) light brown shade had some previous color and she was frustrated with the frizziness with her natural wave.

Kaytee Varchetto of PON International in Anaheim Hills, California brought up the length about four inches then textured the perimeter of Carolina’s hair. She added layers at the crown and around her face and a heavy, jagged bang.

PON-10-1110

For Hayley, Pon took her longer, all-brown hair from basic to brilliant, all while leaving most of the length. He cut a scooped out shag-inspired look with curvy layers on top, piece-y layers around her face and shaggy ends. For the color, a rich brown made the base color pop while soft accents of caramel delicately framed her face.
