This sultry shoulder length cut by Angelica Cosoi of Alexander’s Grand Salon & Spa features longer layers and a heavy side swept bang. The color is a dimensional beigey blonde with champagne highlights and a combination of warm and cool blonde low lights.

Smoothing lotion is cocktailed with an oil-based gloss and worked through the hair from the roots to the ends. After blow-drying with a round brush for volume, a light working spray is applied over the surface. Finishing wax is then used to lightly piece.

Monica’s cut features longer layers, starting at the jaw working their way down, while her color is a soft honey brown with golden blonde highlights. After using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner, stylist Dana Corbitt of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa applied a volumizing spray all over the towel-dried hair.  A large round ceramic brush is used while blow-drying the hair straight up and away from the root for lift. Once completely dry, the hair is set on large Velcro rollers to cool, dusting lightly with a finishing spray over the rollers.

Wanting to create something “not so ordinary” for the color, Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa stylist Robbie Shaner started with a soft light brown base then added freehand panels of color in a series of toasty blonde highlights and medium brown lowlights.

Whitney wanted to take her look a little lighter and brighter. Stylist Michelle Alexander of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa created a highly dimensional look by highlighting her light brown hair to blonde then added copper lowlights for even more depth.

This “in demand” mid length cut features bold choppy layers with soft and blended fringe or bangs. After layering, the cut is highly texturized all over for maximum movement.

Studio C stylist and colorist Dee Lescault created a highly versatile look for Marina. She used hues for the color that contrast but don’t clash. Emphasizing the dimension in the cut, a darker brown was infused over a medium cooler red for the perfect mix.

For an updated 70’s look a very modern set of layers and lots of soft volume offers most of the movement around the perimeter with full, yet soft fringe. To create a fuller style, blow dry with a large round brush, then set the hair on large rollers to instill a soft and feminine volume with flowing movement.

For Summer, stylist and salon owner David Bickle of The David Salon applied a longer layered razor cut with a V shaped bang or fringe area. For the color, her rich brown base is accented with soft “peek-a-boo” highlights in a subtle coppery blonde hue. To style, a defrizzing serum and gloss were applied to the wet hair before blow-drying with a paddle brush. For a smoother look, the dry hair is flat ironed then a small amount of styling paste is worked through for control. The result is a sleek and sexy, side swept look.

This almost platinum blonde features hues of very pale yellow. A short rounded layered cut is the perfect foundation for this flicky look. To style, a combination of leave in moisturizer and gel lotion are applied to the damp hair before blow-drying. A polishing stick (light pomade) was applied to slick down the hair and then a polishing cream is used to create a little definition.

This longer layered cut is done by slicing through the hair to allow a more head-hugging flair. The ends are heavily texturized to instill more movement while removing bulk. To create depth to her color, a warm chocolate brown base is accented with a large slice of honey blonde in front, which delicately frames her face.
