Leah had one length strands with scraggly ends that reached mid way down her back. Her natural (level 7) color was a dull, dirty dishwater blonde. She was in desperate need of a change.

Mary Jane Hirsch of Pon International started the new look by cutting a mid length style that hit just at her shoulders. She added soft, face-framing layers from the cheekbones down, then went back through to texturize all over.

Her color was taken to a rich chocolate brown base with back-to-back slices of dark blonde mainly through the side to peak through the layers and add overall dimension.

For a more volumized versus sleek look, Pon International Sealant leave in conditioner was applied all over on damp hair, then Müssy Sea Silk Styler was used at the root and Turn It Up was sprayed in for added lift. The hair was blown dry with a medium round brush coaxing volume on top by lifting up at the root while drying. Once all of the moisture was removed, more Turn It Up was dusted on large sections of hair before setting on large Velcro rollers. Once set, the rollers were undone and the mid shaft to the ends of the hair were lightly flat ironed. Dü da dü styling paste was used on the ends then da Flex pliable spray was applied over the surface to finish.
