For April (B.), Stephanie Estes (of Pon International in Anaheim Hills, California) created a mid length style with longer layers, which invoke a slight sense of texture and movement. Her hair is naturally very dense (fine strands but lots of them), so the ends are thinned out to taper slightly and add dimension. Layers frame her face while her bangs are swept off to one side.
A heavy golden blonde weave over her natural dark blonde allows for dimensional but natural-looking color.
To style, Pon International Pon Soon is applied mainly at the root, then is worked through the ends. Elevate is added at the crown for boost, while Turn it Up is sprayed in all over. After blow-drying for volume with a round brush, the hair is flat ironed from the mid shaft to the ends. Scatter FX spray wax is applied on the ends for more texture and to accentuate the cut.
