Kelly had shoulder length strands with lots of old, grown out color. It was blond on top and red on the bottom and her layers were overgrown and seemed to lay flat.

Pon evened out the color giving her a darker red base and then gave her defined caramel blond highlights on top for maximum depth. Working with the dimension in the color, he cut shorter layers and an above shoulder length.  He slice cut to give a shattered effect and then added fun pixie bangs to frame her face.

Stylist Amber Johnson of Fantastic Sams in Riverside, California applied a short tapered cut for Vicky with a fabulous asymmetric balance. One side is cut cleanly above the ear while the other swoops down with flared outward length.

Jessica  Sanchez of Fantastic Sams in Norco, California gave Kristie a hairstyle with a serious edge. She started with a short, highly texturized cut and then applied very dimensional color using a range from deep brown to toasty blonde with rich red in between. To style, her dry hair was misted in one-inch sections with styling spray and flat ironed pulling each section in various directions to give a shard-like feel all over.

This highly shattered mid-length style for Jessica features rounded volume on top and shaggy layers all over. To create the look, stylist Priscilla Jones of Fantastic Sams in Rancho Cucamonga, California cut a solid shape, tapered the cut around the face and then sliced in long layers to add texture. Her color is also dimensional to work with the cut and add major depth.

For Paige, Ryan Digregorio of Fantastic Sams in Temecula, California richened up her bland blond color to a deep brunette with purple accents and then created a short and highly texturized cut with lots of short layering all over. Fantastic Sams shine serum and thermal spray were each applied to damp hair before blow drying with a vent brush. After flat ironing, pomade was used to create shard-like pieciness and then a fine mist of shine spray gave the perfect finishing touch.

Karen wanted to liven up her look so Fantastic Sams stylist Linda Morrell of Norco, California produced short razor cut layers all over and then added a firey mix of orange-red and blond colors through her dark brown base. To style, Fantastic Sams Volumizing Spray was applied onto towel-dried hair before blow-drying with just her fingers. Once dry, a flat iron was smoothed through the ends as needed. The end result is a shaggy mid-length style with a fun splash of color running through.
