Devon’s long layered strands feature a rich medium copper red color with some deep strawberry blonde highlights. To style, The David Salon’s Erin Duffy first applied a leave in conditioner that was concentrated on her ends for hydration. Silk Therapy was sparingly used at the ends with the residual worked through the rest of her hair.
After blow-drying with a paddle brush, Erin set in curls using medium sized sections and an extra large curling iron. Each section was pinned up as a barrel curl to cool. Once set, the sections were dropped then a soft wax was emulsified on her hands before working back through Devon’s hair. After backcombing at the crown and smoothing over the surface, a few pieces were taken back and pinned at the base to give a little height. Her fringe was smoothed with a flat iron then a medium hold aerosol spray was used to finish.
