Allison has naturally wavy, light brown hair with some previous blonde highlights. For her new look, Cosmos stylist Lindsey Brown created a rich medium red brown base with slices of copper throughout. A darker red brown block of color is placed at the nape (back), which was sliced back through with thicker slivers of bright red. To work with this highly dynamic color, her new chin length bob is graduated at the back and features shattered ends for added texture.

Smoothing serum is worked through her towel-dried hair while root boost is applied through the crown for a controlled volume. After blow-drying with a Denman brush the length is rolled under by lightly flat ironing along with some shine spray. This look can be roughed up or tousled for a more undone edge.

For a flared look Lindsey used a medium hold working spray on medium sized sections while directing the ends outward with a flat iron. Pomade can also be worked through the ends to separate and shatter even more.
