Carrie’s one length hair was down to the bottom of her back with no layering, movement or defined style. Her natural light brown hair had previous color in an over-exaggerated shade of red that simply did nothing for her.

First stylist Gina Hicks placed Carrie’s length into a ponytail and cut it cleanly off so it could be donated to charity. Next she stripped out the old color and created a head-turning platinum hue. For her cut, a classic A-line shape was produced and then the back was graduated slightly while long bangs were added and blended into the sides.

A nickel-size amount of PON International Sealant and a few drops of KMS Silk Sheen therapy were run through her damp hair. Turn it up styling spray was added on the roots and ends and then KMS Addvolume was applied mainly on the roots and crown. Gina blow-dried with a Denman brush on the under side and a medium round brush on the top. Once dry, a dime-size amount of PON International Du da du was used to add texture and then Da flex was sprayed over the surface for a moveable hold.
