Leah had one length strands with scraggly ends that reached mid way down her back. Her natural (level 7) color was a dull, dirty dishwater blonde. She was in desperate need of a change.

Mary Jane Hirsch of Pon International started the new look by cutting a mid length style that hit just at her shoulders. She added soft, face-framing layers from the cheekbones down, then went back through to texturize all over.

Her color was taken to a rich chocolate brown base with back-to-back slices of dark blonde mainly through the side to peak through the layers and add overall dimension.

For a loose curly look, Mary Jane used a one-inch iron taking advantage of just the rod portion (without the clamp part). Medium sections of dry hair were applied with da Flex working spray and loosely wrapped around the iron, directing all curl away from the face. Once the entire head of hair was done, the curls were broken up and Ponder Powder was applied at the root, while Dü da dü was used to piece out sections. The end result is a fun, beachy wave.
