Kristy’shair was a level 5/6 natural brown with very fine highlights running through her shoulder length strands. Her hair is thick in density but fine in texture with a slight natural wave.

This cut features shattered layers all over with a mid neck length. A fun disconnected faux hawk section is offset from the crown over to one side, ending at one ear. The color is a mix of bright blonde with blocks of copper red to accentuate the disconnected section as well as accent the texture of the cut.

For a tamer style, Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Mousse is applied all over on towel-dried hair.  Celeste chose this product due to the texture of Kristy’s chemically treated hair and because it instills hold without the feel of product weighing everything down. After rough-drying by hand, a flat iron was used to smooth and add control. Caviar Rapid Repair Spray & Shine and Framesi Polishing Cream add the perfect finishing touches.

For a fuller style, Celeste used just her fingertips and rubbed at the scalp to roughen up the texture.  Redken Forceful 23 is applied as needed for long lasting hold.
