This short shag shape by Lori Kurtz of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa of Anaheim Hills, California has disconnected layers throughout for maximum texture. Her color is a deep copper base with an asymmetrical star section on top that was prelightened then applied with a rich red.
For a flickey style, a thickening lotion was applied all over before blow-drying with a round brush for volume. To create a soft bend to the hair, sections are applied with a light working spray while an extra large curling iron is used to sweep the top forward and to the other side. Wax is used to piece lightly and more spray finished everything off.
