This short shag shape by Lori Kurtz of Alexander’s Grand Salon and Spa of Anaheim Hills, California has disconnected layers throughout for maximum texture. Her color is a deep copper base with an asymmetrical star section on top that was prelightened then applied with a rich red.
For a flicky style, a thickening lotion was applied all over before blow-drying with a round brush for volume. A small amount of gloss is worked through the hair before flat ironing, all while kicking the ends up slightly. Wax is used to piece out the ends while spray shine over the surface is utilized to instill a radiant shine.
