These texture-focused creations by Sally Brooks, 2020's British Hairdresser of the Year, are a result of her ingenuity and "out of the box" thinking during last year's shutdowns. Not able to use live models, she chose these beautiful swan neck mannequins and set out to create individual masterpieces on an otherwise tight budget. And the results? Simply breathtaking!
Hair artist Danny Pato tapped some of the movements and obsessions of the '60s, from pop art and fashion to architecture, and mixed it with space travel, new wave, and rebellion—but he reimagined it all for today.
