“Junya” was crafted an an homage to fashion designer Junya Watanabe and his beautiful creations. Inspired by a earlier collection using origami and honeycomb effects, hair artist Gonzalo Zarauza emulated the different treatments that Mr. Watanabe prints in his textiles with in these hair creations. This series offers a unique minimalist touch but is also sophisticated much like the Japanese culture from which it is inpired.

Weave, the collection by Gonzalo Zarauza, is all about the frame of the fabric. It involves new forms and textures that return stunning images with a uniquely tactile sensation. The thread of this series is the treatment of the hair, using only natural hair and synthetic strands, these looks mimic that of finely textured wool, cotton or any material to make fabrics.

Being fairly new to the industry, Roxanne Benli knows that she's lucky enough to be able to look at hair with an unbiased perspective. She feels that her eyes and mind are always drawn to movement. With this collection, she was not only aiming to produce something interesting with a hint of movement, but also something that was soft and gentle. Roxanne wanted to keep the series simple so as to focus on the hair. Shapes and lines, soft contrast between dark and light, smooth elements and texture, strong and straight lines, and soft, wavy fluff were all purposely juxtaposed.
