This collection by The XXL Team was inspired by the evolution and transformation of the technological world; the consequences of which will bring as much light as they will shadow in future societies. Drawing inspiration from the latest trends, the most intense tones have been used at the roots to create depth. Working downwards we find pastel tones, which meet the tips of the hair, playful in its contrast of grays. The color along with the cut, whose straight lines have been enhanced with undercutting, convey an overall impression of strength and intensity.

To celebrate his recent appointment as Creative Director for The Hair Movement, Brandon Messinger has created the 'Movement' collection, which takes editorial looks and shows how they can be combined with a commercial aesthetic to create real, wearable hair. A key aim was to show 'living hair' – hair that is free to move and change, not stay as a single unchanging form. Using classic colors and varying textures to create the looks, Brandon added real-time movement to bring the looks to life.
