With nearly three decades of experience making women look and feel beautiful, Victor Paul is the co-owner of Victor Paul Salon in Costa Mesa, California, where he specializes in hair cut, styling and color, as well as makeup.
For the inspiration and conceptualizing for his namesake salon, Victor and Robert Fox, his partner of 25 years, went for a friendly, upscale and elegant atmosphere, but with a modern twist.
The contemporary exterior of the convenient stand-alone facility located on Baker Street flaunts an eco-chic slate gray hue with a spectrum of vibrant green striping. Inside, a sense of warmth takes over with delicate shades on the walls, an industrial look to the flooring and lots of airy natural sunlight.
The etched and stained cement flooring offers an edgy, industrial vibe and grounds the look of the interior. Large mirrors at each bamboo-inspired wood styling station visually adds to the vastness of space while the natural daylight-filled room is accented with splashes of warm lighting. Lightly hued walls, some with delicate patterns, complete the airiness while large pieces of artwork from local artists impart gallery-esque elegance.
The Victor Paul Salon proudly features 17 hair stylist stations, a color processing room, facial facilities, and a boutique, which offers top hair and skin care brands, as well as candles, accessories and other unique gifts. Services include make-up, waxing, facials, hair cutting, coloring and styling, as well as texture and straightening services, and hair extensions.
