Pantone's color guide for Spring 2017 is inspired by Mother Earth and the promise of the great outdoors, evoking a feeling of renewal and transformation that's long overdue. Here are some tips for introducing these nature-loved shades into your beauty routine.
Island Vibrancy
If the tropics could be described with a handful of shades, pink yarrow, flame, and primrose yellow could easily fit the bill. Yarrow’s bold fuchsia color flatters virtually any skin tone. Flame delivers with a fiery red-orange, infusing the palette with youthful energy. Primrose is a sunshine yellow full of warmth and vitality.

Earthy Renewal
Greenery, Pantone's color of the year, is a vivid yellow-green reminiscent of a spring garden. Its bright hue is complemented perfectly by hazelnut, a warm brownish-nude, and kale, a lush, leafy-green. In contrast pale dogwood is a soft, understated pink that's pure and glowy. Together they bring in an air of rooted earthiness and rejuvenation.

Ocean’s Calling
Spring’s palette would be incomplete without a range of beach-lingering blues. Lapis is a saturated, ocean blue. Niagara perfectly satisfies the craving for a classic, reliable shade of denim. It's versatile without being fussy. Island paradise is a playful blue-green, easily seen dancing off the ocean surface and its incoming waves.
