With an emphasis on technique, Jason Hall of Jason Hall Hairdressing in Edinburgh, Scotland created strong outline shapes with a distinct focus on color for a new series of hairstyle trends. He went for rich jewel-inspired tones to break up the solidness of each hairstyle to accent the cut, emphasize the disconnection, and enhance the texture. All of this comes together to create a collection he has dubbed Irradiate- completely modern looks that cast a light on beauty and individuality.
A member of the prestigious Fellowship of British Hairdressers, Jason Hall has had a varied and colorful career. He owns two namesake salons in Edinburgh, Scotland’s crown jewel, both of which boast a five-star rating by The Good Salon Guide.
Jason began hairdressing in Edinburgh in 1985 and went on to complete his training in London with the world-famous Vidal Sassoon. He has been involved in almost every aspect of his profession from hosting and participating in many hair shows and seminars, to advising and giving quotes for newspapers, radio, and magazines.
A regular at London fashion week Jason has worked on shows with Louise Grey, Holly Fulton, and Preen to name a few. He was also part of the team for Edinburgh International Fashion Festival working with Pam Hogg, Aimee McWilliams, Issey Miyake, and more. The photographic work of Jason Hall has graced the covers and contents of magazines from around the world. He has also made appearances on Scottish television, Channel 4 and most recently on MTV’s cult show, Dirty Sanchez.
