Coiffed @ Golden Globes

The Golden Globes kicked off the 2019 awards season in signature style with all of the glam and glitz you'd expect on the red carpet. Oribe Hair Care's celebrity hairstylists were working overtime to make sure celebs looked their best for the big day. Here are some of the must-have star-powered looks and how to get them...

Missi PyleMissi Pyle 
Celebrity hairstylist Craig Gangi used Oribe Hair Care to create Missi Pyle’s modern twist on her Rita Hayworth inspired look.

1. Start by mixing 3-5 drops of the Oribe Power Drops Damage Repair Booster into a dime-size amount of Supershine Moisturizing Cream to soften and defrizz processed hair. Apply the mixture to damp hair from mid-lengths to ends.

2. Spray a generous amount of Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray on the front root of the hair to create volume and lift on top. 

3. Rough dry hair with a vent brush, creating lift at the root.

4. Curl hair with a 1.5-inch curling iron and set with pins. Allow hair to cool and brush out. 

5. Pin one side of the hair back loosely and secure with bobby pins.

6. Finish with Oribe Superfine Hair Spray.

Roger Taylor of QueenRoger Taylor
Celebrity Hairstylist Nicole Chew used Oribe Hair Care to groom iconic Queen drummer Roger Taylor. Roger attended the show in support of Bohemian Rhapsody, which was nominated for two Golden Globes this year.

1. Apply Oribe Flash Form Finishing Spray Wax on dry hair and sculpt waves with fingers.

2. Pull hair back and away from the face.

3. Smooth beard into place using Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil.

Topher Grace
Celebrity hairstylist Christina Cessna groomed actor Topher Grace using cult favorites from the Oribe collection. Topher’s film, Blackkklansman, was nominated for four Golden Globes this year.

1. Cleanse hair with Oribe Signature Shampoo and Oribe Signature Conditioner. 

2. Allow hair to air dry. 

3. Once hair is dry, spray Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray at the root and throughout for piece-y texture and volume.

Celebrity hairstylist Valerie Jackson created a 1930s-inspired style on actress Alex Borstein to compliment her embellished red gown and glam makeup. Alex was nominated for her standout role in the hit series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

1. Prep hair with Oribe Foundation Mist and blow dry.

3. Spray Oribe Superfine Strong throughout to set the look. 

4. To finish, apply a small amount of Oribe AirStyle Flexible Finish Cream to smooth flyaways.
