The maker of BioSilk announces the launch of their latest beauty line for both hair and skin called Silk 21. Featuring four new products, Silk 21 with 21 amino acids, replenishes dry or damaged hair with essential moisturizing botanical extracts and herbs. It also provides thermal protection and strengthens and revitalizes hair while leaving it silky smooth with incredible shine and UV protection. The line also prevents color loss.
21 Amino Acids
Hair is made up of proteins formed from multiple amino acids. When hair is processed using chemicals or styled with heat, these proteins get fragmented, converting several amino acids to amino acid derivatives. The Silk 21 line of products is rich in amino acids derived from natural silk and keratin that help to maintain and balance the composition of the hair. Healthy hair contains 21 amino acids. Silk provides 17 amino acids, and the remaining are supplemented by the amino acids from wool keratin such as Aspartic acid, Threonine, Serine, Glutamic acid, Proline, and more.

Silk 21 Leave-In Thermal Protecting Styling Cream
Lightweight, leave-in treatment hydrates dry tresses while helping to revive dull, lifeless hair. Silk offers thermal protection, helping to prevent future damage and split-ends. Hair is left soft, nourished, and manageable with incredible shine.
Silk 21 Silk Repair & Shine Serum
Lightweight leave-in silk replenishing and reconditioning treatment shields hair against thermal damage. It helps to smooth away frizz and fly-a-ways, leaving hair manageable with incredible shine. Formulated for all hair types, this leave-in fills voids in the hair cuticle helping to create smooth styles. It can be used as a light moisturizing oil to relieve dry skin, leaving it soft and nourished.
