For a fun upstyle, Kari took larger random sections of dry, smooth hair and pulled them back, looping, twisting and pinning them into place. Some of the ends were left to sprig out while sporadic sections in front were left out allowing them to dangle and delicately frame the face.

A fine honey blonde weave is broken up with panels of dark blonde peaking through from underneath revealing subtle dimension. A light conditioning gel is applied to her long razor textured layers before blow-drying the hair smooth with a denman brush. Fine sections are applied with a power hold spray then wave ironed. A small amount of styling cream is lightly worked through for definition.

This softly volumized style by Jessie Yamada of The David Salon features long concave layers and a rich brown base with triangle sections of copper sliced through. To style, the wet hair is applied with a shine serum and smoothing cream, then is blown-dry with a paddle brush. Large sections are applied with pomade for control and shine, then are twisted lightly around a one-inch iron. Last she finished with a maximum hold spray.
