Mist damp hair with volumizing spray at the root and texture spray all over. Rough dry most of the way and then introduce a vent brush to create lift at the root. Work a small amount of styling wax through dry style, pinching and twisting the ends of several sections to create a pieced-out finish.
Mist texture spray through damp hair and blow dry for volume in front with a vented brush. Work a bit of matte wax through to add pieciness, separation, and control. Finish with a mist of hairspray.
Blow dry sections with a Denman brush, directing hair forward. Run a dab of matte wax through to create texture. Finger style hair into place and then mist with hair spray to hold.
