Jennifer Newman of Fantastic Sams in Huntington Beach, California started with Sovanary’s all dark color and grown out layers and created an A-line bob with an elevated back and wispy fringe. Her bark brown base was enhanced then very thin slices of bold color were run through to liven up her look. To style, Fantastic Sams Smoothing Gel was applied on damp hair before blow-drying with a round brush for volume. Once dry, Shine Spray and Extra Firm Finishing Spray were layered over the top and Pomade was used on the ends to finish.

Amanda was tired of waiting for her hair to grow out. She had breakage from extreme chemical damage and had applied black dye over the top to try to cover everything.

Nicole Martin of Nicole Martin Hair in Aliso Viejo, California started the new look by removing the black color then applied a deep red for the base. Through that she weaved in red and brown all over the top then added a clear gloss to seal everything in and add shine.

Cinta Salon colorist Jeannette Farrell created a very natural looking color for Haig with a beachy, sun kissed flavor. It’s meant to look like something that occurs in nature…as if someone spends a fair amount of time in the sun. His light brown base is softly broken up with dark blonde highlights. The contrast is very subtle; in fact you’d really have to look to see it. The placement is almost random and allows a highly masculine feel.

Piece-y bends add polish and dimension to this loosely textured mid length style.

Get the Look:

Mist damp hair with texture spray and rough-dry using just your fingers. Twist sections of hair and wrap loosely around a curling wand, while keeping a good grip on the ends. Once all sections are done, tousle to break up sections and then mist with hair finishing spray to hold.
