Long

Rippled Waves - S-13-00975

Rippled waves and piecey ends give Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's long layers a touchable appeal.

Starting on dry, smooth hair, mist larger sections with working spray and curl the lower part away from your face using a large curing wand. Hold onto the ends as you wrap the section around the rod, leaving them out of the curing process. Once all sections are curled, add a small amount of styling cream on your hands and run fingers through hair to break up sections.

Alexis’ strands barely touched her shoulders and she was desperately trying to grow her hair out. She was tired of tucking the sides back behind her ears while waiting, so stylist and extension specialist Jaime Queenin used human hair extensions to recreate some much-desired length.

Shoulder length hair is layered all over then a blended side-swept fringe was added to frame the face.

For a highly textured style, volumizing lotion was worked into damp hair before blow-drying with the head upside down to help provoke volume. Once dry, KMS Hairstay medium hold spray was misted on 2-inch sections before wave-ironing all the way through. Sections were backcombed around the top for lift, then pieced with Configure Cream by KMS and applied with more hairspray to finish.

Pop of Pink - FS-09-00948

Jamie Gualichico of Fantastic Sams in La Verne, California gave Rebekah a long layered cut with heavy side bangs. For her color, a stunning summer beige base shows off panels of pink with black on the ends. Her hair was blown dry with a round brush and then the ends were lightly curled outward using shaping spray and finishing with pomade.

Sleekness with Fringe - FS-09-00947

Natalia’s long, smooth hairstyle by Nina Serrano of Fantastic Sams in Murrieta, California is accented with long and wispy bangs. The dark hue adds a sultry edge to the super-sleek finish. Straightening serum was worked through her towel-dried hair before blow-drying straight with a paddle brush. Once dry, a flat iron was smoothed over two-inch sections for added control.

For Lauren, Kimberly Goitia of Fantastic Sams in Norco, California created a layered razor cut with a fun edge. A rich copper base was accented with soft blonde sections to add to the depth and movement. To style, leave in conditioner was applied to damp hair before blow-drying with a round brush and flat ironing the ends. A dab of texture cream was worked through the ends and then a mist of shine spray all over and hairspray on the roots finished off the style.
