Designed to hug the head, Alisa’s short, layered cut offers a slight A-line quality. Rene Beckner of Victor Paul Salon in Costa Mesa, California left length on top to blend into a long swoopy bang for style versatility. Heavy texturizing added just enough soft movement through the length.
For her color, a warm beachy blonde was created with pale and golden blonde shades in front and a natural light brown in the back to accentuate the cut.
To create a soft forward-swept look, Enjoy Volumizing Mousse was worked through damp hair before blow-drying with a flat brush. Rene switched to a boar bristle round brush to help smooth the length in front. Once dry, Thermal Spray was misted on and the length was flat ironed for control. Texture Spray was applied over the top to help unlock the cut’s natural movement. Super Hold Hair Spray provided the perfect amount of holding power to finish.
