Stylist Seana Boldt of Fantastic Sams in Perris, California started with a rich red-brown hue and then created a medium length layered cut with fun, point cut bangs. This new cut gave a better, more rounded shape to help unlock her natural texture. A nickel-size amount each of leave in conditioner and curl defining cream were mixed together and worked through her towel-dried hair before diffuse-drying with low heat while scrunching her hair. Her bangs were round brushed while drying and then were flat ironed for smoothness.

Priscilla Jones of Fantastic Sams in Rancho Cucamonga, California created a short all over cut for Antonio with uniquely long and pointed sideburns. To unlock his natural texture, a dab of styling cream was worked in before allowing his hair to airdry.

A little ed resin mega hold glue bestowed great definition and hold for this creation without weighing the hair down (it can also be diluted for lighter hold and flexibility without compromising the result). To finish this look, ed shine spray added lustre to create a multi-dimensional effect with texture, definition, hold and shine.

A scissor over comb cut  for an even, but rounded base. For the color she prelightened, then applied with a deep violet red. To style, she applied an ample amount of Repair and Shine then allowed his naturally very curly hair to air dry for a fun textured finish.

Rashidah Thomas Eady of Fantastic Sams in Culver City, California used a small-barreled curling iron on small sections all over to create delicate spirals. The front section of the hair is rolled tightly into cornrows in a chevron pattern.

These big, boldly bouncy curls were created by applying Redken Spray Starch on completely dry hair, applying section by section.  Each section was then set on an “old school” pink sponge roller and placed under a very hot dryer for 20 minutes.  After cooling for 45 minutes, the hair was taken down and using their fingers, the team rouged and roughly feathered the hair, layering in Redken Workforce 9 flexible volumizing spray as they continued to build the desired volume.
